Truflame Welding Equipment Ltd is a family run business first established in 1968. For the last 22 years, Truflame has resided in a purpose-built development in the heart of Sheffield's prominent industrial hamlet on Newhall Road. Still, a family-owned and operated business, when Managing Director Steve Gavins retired in 2012, the mantel was picked up by Steve's son Chris.
Since Truflame Welding Equipment opened its doors in 1968 we have gone from strength to strength and now operate over a dozen franchise agreements with major suppliers of welding equipment and consumables in the UK. Including the likes of Optrel, ESAB and Steel Blue.

MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding also known a Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), arc welding or stick welding is a popular and versatile welding process where the arc is struck between a coated electrode is used to lay the weld using MMA welders.
