Englefield Garden Centre Reading
Englefield Garden Centre is managed by Affinity Trust which is a charitable organisation and limited company that champions the support of adults with learning disabilities based around the needs of the individual. Affinity Trust offers work opportunities at Englefield Garden Centre to the people it supports which can enable them to fulfil their potential through workplace opportunities.

With the help of our dedicated team of people with learning disabilities, we grow over 100,000 plants every year at the garden centre. So the person you buy the plant from is often the person who grew it - and who could give you better advice about your new plant than the person who grew it? We specialise in "Grow Your Own" selecting only the tastiest and most tender varieties of vegetable plants to grow on and sell.
Services
We will ask you to sanitize your hands on entry to the garden centre and wear a face covering, not only to protect you but also our staff team, we ask that you sanitize your trolley handle when collecting your trolley at the entrance. Please keep a social distance of 2m from others whilst enjoying your shopping experience.

We went there in October and it wasn't much to choose from besides very nice rose bushes and other autumn plants. But that's probably more our fault due to the time of the year. Go there in the summer and I'm sure they'll have a ton of colourful things to buy.

A great garden centre and great location but a small car park. However, one can always park on the road outside called The Street. The staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable.
There’s a large variety of gardening product, plants, shrubs, flower plants and fruit trees etc. available but some sections looked bare and empty ( bedding plants House). There are good choice of gardening accessories available in the store, some of them perhaps only available from this store only!
Some plants do look a bit wilted. The entrance to the garden centre did not look very welcoming - the trolleys were lying
