Helsby Golf Club is situated in leafy Cheshire in the North West of England, only 7 miles from the Roman city of Chester and 1.5 miles from J14 of the M56. It is a very friendly members' club - fully owned and run by the members who have invested sensibly over many years - and we also welcome visitors and societies. Helsby Golf Club features superb facilities in beautiful surroundings and is now regarded as one of golf's finest in Cheshire and the North West.

Many club activities are built around golf but the club is also renowned for its wealth of social activities so there is always something to enjoy at Helsby whatever your age or ability. It is a members' club fully owned and run by members for members, families, guests and visitors. It has an active membership of around 550 members and we welcome new applications from all sections - men, ladies and juniors.
Helsby Golf Club has excellent clubhouse facilities enjoyed by Members, Visitors and Societies alike. The bar and restaurant with their magnificent views over the course provide a welcome retreat after a round of golf or if you just feel like popping in for a drink or a meal in very pleasant surroundings.

Helsby Golf Club has an active membership of around 550 members. It is a very friendly club and we welcome new applications from all sections - Men's, Ladies' and Juniors'. Full membership - giving year round access to all of the club's facilities with unlimited golf - costs less than 18 per week. Helsby Golf Club Powered Wheelchair Appeal exists solely to raise funds for this cause. The club's efforts on this front have been led since 1982 by Bert Dyson - awarded an MBE for his services to children - and are referred to in Peter Alliss's autobiography: Over the years there has been tremendous support from a number of golf clubs up and down the UK and in Ireland.
