At Specialisterne NI, we use Lego Mindstorms Robots to identify skills and any support needs of participants. By building Lego Robots in small teams, participants demonstrate skills in completing a systematic task, as well as self and team management. We then share what we see with participants and where appropriate use this information to match participants to job roles.
Having supported people with social communication differences across a broad range of work environments and industry sectors, we are able to coach employees to find optimum ways of communicating in the workplace. With the employee's permission we can coach Managers, Team Leads or colleagues to work more effectively with team members who have social communication difference.
There are no behaviours specific to Autism, rather it is a collection of behaviours that together indicate a different way of experiencing the world. Autism is a social communication difference that is developmental and is thought to be lifelong. It is a spectrum as Autism can look very different from one person to the next, with Aspergers or Autism given as a diagnosis depending on when a person develops speech as a child.

The group works out of the Skainos Centre for some parts, so google puts you on the wrong track, but it's close by. Misleading but sufficient for most.

The service I received was good, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to people looking for ways to overcome how ASC affects making job applications.
