The Metroplitan Police, Transport for London, Formula 1, Bedfordshire Fire Service, Surrey police Service, Ford Motor Company and Amazon. All of our instructors are trained on the Probike Training motorcycle instructors course and have reach the highest Driving Standards Agency level at their headquarters in Cardington.
Whether it is a moped, scooter or full sized motorcycle Probike can train you to the standard required. Compulsory Basic Training is a course which must be completed before a moped or motorcycle learner irider s allowed to ride unaccompanied on the road with L-plates. CBT was introduced in 1990 to help reduce the accident rate among inexperienced motorcyclists.
To obtain your full licence you must take a DSA test. There are 3 types of test that you can take depending on your age and what type of motorcycle you wish to ride. You can find out more on on the Law page. All of our students are provided with state of the art digital radios, reflective jackets, crash helmets (if needed), gloves and armoured jackets.
All of our training sites have a number of quality, affordable hotels and guest houses nearby. If you would like us to recommend on to you for you to stay in during your course then please get in touch. We have just moved our head office to a purpose built centre in Chelmsford, Essex. Our new offices offer our students even better facilities as well as our own private off road training area.

Passed my cbt and mod 1 with probike . All the instructors are really good friendly and helpful. There is a great atmosphere and all round great training. Bikes are great. All the staff are really helpful and easy to get along with and very knowledgeable. Got to be the best place to train. Fingers crossed on my mod 2 . Highly reccomend

Completed my CBT today. Having never ridden a motorbike before, the instructor team, Tony, Rob and Martin, explained everything clearly, were encouraging and most importantly were patient with me. The equipment and facilities were great. I passed my CBT and am now very much looking forward to starting my DAS training.

Booked my training pre-corona at the start of the year which unfortunately got postponed. Not knowing when I would be doing the training, the staff at Pro-Bike were extremely helpful and gave me options on where to go next.
Couple of months ago I started my training and had my Module 1 booked in advance, I cannot explain how grateful I am on the… training and helpful advice they gave on getting me that first pass certificate. The tips they gave certainly gave me more confidence.
I recently just passed my module 2 with the help of this team, and I am absolutely thrilled to be on two wheels

Just finished my course with Probike Training. Throughout my training all the staff were thorough and attentive with all students and not just there to tell everyone how good they are, these people have standards and ensure the people they teach are safe. At no point was I pushed beyond my barriers and everything was clearly explained. Good value,… good bikes, good training and clear communication. My experience was entirely positive first time passes at every stage and have come out the end confident to get out on two wheels. Thanks to all at Probike.

Where do I start?! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS ENOUGH. I believe in some way or another I met all the instructors and office staff, they all have different personality’s but I didn’t meet one person that made me feel uncomfortable. I’ve read a couple of previous reviews that seem pretty negative and I’ve got to say I noticed a few people come… onto the course during my time also, but that being said if you want honest, reliable training to help you be the best you can this is the place. But that does mean the same effort from students. You have to understand that
