Services
Accessories; from cags, spray decks, buoyancy aids, paddles and clothing, as well as boats, trailers, trolleys and anything for the paddling; enthusiast or beginner it is all available online and from our Exeter store. As we are situated right on the river in Exeter, visitors to our shop can try before they buy, and we also offer a range of training and tasters sessions for beginners to canoeing and kayaking.
Trying boats on the canal is FREE and we encourage you to try as many as you would like to find the perfect boat. If you're stuck between a few boats this can be a very quick easy way to narrow down the options. If the boat you would like to try isn't on the list then please contact us and we'll see if we can get a demo for you to try.

Excellent customer service on the two occasions I’ve dealt with AS WaterSports - first time I visited the shop to test a number of SUP boards and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. 2nd time wanted to order some dry trousers on line - they were out of stock - but they rang me as soon as the stock came in and they checked the detailed size for me, spoke v politely and my order literally arrived the next day - we’ll packaged without any excessive plastics. Thank you to all the team.

Me and my family drove all the way from Southampton to come and look at a canoe, I’d phoned the shop a few times for advise and they where super helpful. On arrival the shop was busy but the guys where still… able to give us time and not make us feel rushed. They gave us lots of advised and we left with an amazing new Canoe that I’m sure our family will make some amazing memories with. Massive thanks and will be supporting them as much as I can in the future :)

It is only if you have a problem does the true caliber of the shop show, I brought a red stand up paddle board and the pump was faulty , but you sorted it out and had another one delivered to my door , don’t be scared to buy from this company online , it’s a 5 star company all the way , from the first conversation to the last , they have your back , I can’t recommend enough .

Brilliant service from the guys!! Booked an appointment to check out a dagger katana 10.4 Max was really helpful and patient as I tried out the demos and gave me great tips on outfitting and looking after the kayak! Walked in at 1000hrs and walked out at 1020hrs with a dagger katana, paddle and spraydeck! No dramas! Cheers for your help guys :) 🤙🏻

As ever, AS have given amazing support and help fitting out my recently bought new boat. I have limited mobility so need a lot of extra adaptations to a sea boat, but they always rise to the challenge with smart ideas and solutions. This shop has everything you need for paddle sports. I was served by Dave, who was most helpful and knowledgeable, and even helped me load my new kayak on the roof of my car. It's nice to go to a shop where the staff are passionate about the goods they sale. I will be back shortly to purchase a new kayak for my wife.:-)
