The Septic Tank Store is a thriving family business based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Wayne and Stephanie have over 25 years of experience in the land drainage and wastewater industry. And this passion is now being shared by their son Hayden. Our goal is to give our customers the peace of mind that they are purchasing a product and service from a company that guarantees expertise, efficiency and excellence.
Both Wayne and Hayden are British Water trained engineers and Hayden wears a second hat as our resident qualified electrician. Wayne was mentored by his father who also ran a land drainage business - so it's safe to say that there isn't much Wayne doesn't know about sewage treatment and drainage! He is passionate about finding the most eco-friendly solution to your sewage problem.

Services
We understand that wastewater management can be a sensitive subject which is why we will work with you to find a practical solution specific to your needs; be it in the form of a treatment plant for 4 houses, or for an equestrian yard on a country estate, or for a farm shop with a caf or a small rural cottage.
Sewage Treatment Plants are an eco-friendly solution for when access to mains sewage drainage is not possible. The discharge is non-polluting which means it can normally discharge to a stream or ditch if one is available meeting the new binding rules that came into force in 2020. Domestic Sewage Treatment Systems are sized on the number of bedrooms in the property.
Septic Tanks are designed to provide an option when connection to the mains sewage system is not available. These tanks work by separating the solids and liquids, filtering the liquids into a separate chamber and onwards into a drainage field to be dispersed into the ground. The remaining sludge is partially broken down through anaerobic digestion and requires emptying regularly.
For more than 50 years, the GRAF brand has represented high-quality plastic products. The Septic Tank Store is pleased to offer their state of the art Carat wastewater tanks. Manufactured in Germany by injection compression moulding, the Carat tanks are robust, reliable and stable. Thanks to an in-house raw materials recycling facility, over 50% of the raw materials processed at GRAF are recycled.
WPL has been at the forefront of wastewater treatment for over 25 years. At The Septic Tank Store we carry their UK manufactured DMS Diamond sewage treatment plants. Their plants are suitable for the smallest domestic property up to small to medium sized commercial units. For details on their DMC Diamond systems for large commercial units, please contact us.

Summary
if you need a domestic sewage treatment plant, the BioPure 3 is worth a look. But don't go near the Septic Tank Store for installation and aftercare service.
The Short Version
We spent £12,000 getting a BioPure 3 domestic sewage plant installed by the Septic Tank Store.
After 2 years of working really well, the alarm system failed, the tank then flooded, destroying the electrics, and the Septic Tank Store charged us £1,000 to fix it, without, at any point, showing any interest in finding out why the system that THEY recommended and supplied and installed

What a great job Wayne, Hayden and the team have done in installing the new treatment plant. Was a very tricky job, not helped by the atrocious wet weather at the start. Although it was a complicated process, the whole job went smoothly and with the minimum amount of disruption and fuss. Everything was left tidy and safe at the end of the day and when the job was finished. Many many thanks and I can’t recommend you highly enough- pleasure having you here Steve

Organising a replacement septic tank is for most of us, a once in a lifetime experience, so going about selecting the right company for the job is a little daunting. We had several quotes and discussions with would-be suppliers & installers and without doubt we made the right decision in opting for The Septic Tank Store. Why? Well they did all the… simple things correctly, like returning our phone calls when they said they would, arriving on time for the site inspection, discussing and explaining the challenges of the job in a straightforward manner, undertaking the job on time, finishing
