A few words to let you know what's happening at Hutchinson and what you can expect from us during these unusual times. Our offices are fully operational with staff alternating between office and working from home. Please get in touch, we are here. Planned maintenance of pump stations and package sewage treatment plants is continuing: now is not the time for essential equipment to fail.
We have over 40 years' experience of designing off-mains wastewater treatment and pumping solutions that work and last. Our designs and recommendations are informed by our first-hand knowledge gained in sewage treatment plant and pump station installation and maintenance.
We work to the latest Environment Agency and SEPA requirements and guidance, current Building Regulations and Standards, British Standards and British Water Codes of Practice in England, Scotland and Wales.Are you a householder? NoUsually if you don't live in a town and city - An easy was to find out is if there are no manholes near the site. YesIf your foul run unassisted - No mechanical help to the local councils manhole.
If your pump station or sewage treatment plant breaks down, contact our Service Department on 01434 220508 during office hours. If you have a current service agreement with us we always have a duty engineer on standby for you, who can be contacted out of office hours on 07971 655929.
If you don't have a service agreement but have an urgent problem, the best course of action is to call a tanker company to "mop up", then call us during office hours or send us an email and we'll get back to you to see what we can do to resolve to problem at source, be it a failed effluent pump, a burned out Biodisc motor, a blocked non-return valve, a sticking high level alarm float, etc.
