Services
We were awarded the full groundowrks package for a new primary school in Bentham, North Yorkshire. This includes highways & all sub structure & external works. The new USAR - Urban Search And Rescue.unit for the Fire Brigade training College at Chorley, we were awarded the groundworks package, including the re-widening of the existing highway.
Myerscough College hired us to install the foundations for their new Sports centre. We started out by removing the existing carparks and bases already at the site, before installing ringbeams and drainage attenuation tanks. We are also forming a football pitch on this site and a MUGA pitch. The STEM Centre, The facility at the Millennium campus is part of the college's response to an increased demand for construction trade skills.
ND Civils have undertaken all aspects of groundwork on our behalf, we have a great relationship; honest and easy with excellent communication. We find them professional from start to finish, working to tight schedules and keeping to the programme. They use quality plant and equipment that is well maintained.
Safety is pivotal to the culture of the company in all ND Civils activities. Safety is not considered a chore for ND Civils but more of a way of simply doing things safely. Safe Hands NW Ltd., is appointed as the competent person in accordance with the Management of Health & Safety Regulations, advising on all matters relating to health & safety at work.
