Strathearn Eventing aims to provide an 'all-round' equestrian service for the horse and owner whatever their level and ambition. The facilities are aimed at being able to meet the targets set by the rider, whilst providing a high standard of care for the horses. Coaching at all levels is to be fun whilst seeking improvement and achieving desired goals, safely, for individuals, groups or clubs.
The cross country facility is dedicated to offering training jumps for all and is open to the public. There are regular competitions and clinics in a variety of disciplines. A bespoke service of horse keep and schooling is available within the family run yard and there is over eighty years of knowledge and experience in caring for horses based on site.

Scotland's finest training facility are found in the heart of lowland Perthshire within the Strathearn Valley. Strathearn Eventing was opened in 1992 by Ian Stark MBE (Olympic Gold Medalist/trainer and course designer), with the aim of providing a first class cross country training facility. Based in rural Perthshire amongst 50 acres of permanent pasture and woodland.
A monarch lunge pen is situated adjacent to the stable yard. A safe and secure large 20m radius circle, stock boarding on lower circumference, and a shelter belt planted around to provide shelter. Excellent new drainage has been laid below the Equestrian Surfaces all weather wax and sand mix.
Used for coaching young/less experienced riders, lunge lessons to improve position, breaking youngsters or to help riders feel more confident in a smaller space perhaps after sometime off from riding.The covered Monarch five bay horse walker was installed in 2014 and is a vital asset to help with the management of the horses and ponies.

A family yard situated adjacent to the house which provides 24 hour supervision. Flower beds and summer boxes are situated at the end of the yard and along the arena. There are 15 stables ranging in size from 1412 to 108, including a foaling box with camera and 8 internal Loddon stables. They all have good views across the yard and fields and provide excellent ventilation, an important factor in minimising the risk of infections and disease.
Strathearn Eventing has approximately one thousand visits a year from all over Scotland with a range of abilities and requirements. Lessons on clients own horses vary from individuals to pairs, groups, pony/riding clubs, camps and visiting school groups. Training is undertaken in a wide variety of disciplines including flatwork, showjumping, working hunter and showing or just improving your general riding.
Horses and ponies can be taken for schooling or long/short term keep where one to one care is provided whether aiming for competition or just pure enjoyment. In the top yard there are fifteen stables split between two stable blocks centred around the tack room and an all weather floodlit (40x40m) arena and seven stables in a modern barn.
