2. Please check that there is space at your venue for us to play -ten foot by ten foot square is generous for the quartet. We will be able to advise you if we have played at your venue before. The Trio and Duo require less space respectively. But please bear in mind that if there is not enough room for us to play we will not be able to play.

We’d heard of the Haysden String Quartet via friends that had attended functions where the HSQ had been hired to play.
They have an extensive repertoire and as such are not restricted to the ‘same old, same old’ sets that one always hears ad nauseum at weddings.
Nicky Goodwin & co were extremely accommodating to our music requests and additional instruments.
Great rates and great people - I’m unable to recommend them highly enough.
Another factor to take into account is, as my wife and I discovered when we were married in the unheated Baron’s Hall at Penshurst Place, I can confirm

We booked the Haysden Quartet for our wedding at The Secret Garden, and they were just PERFECT! From making the arrangements and selecting the music to the formal music for the ceremony and the background music during the wedding breakfast, it really could not have been any better. They helped to make our special day as special as it could possibly be! And without exception, all of our guests commented on how great the music was!

We booked the quartet for our daughter's wedding, with a playlist request that was mainly rock with a dash of classical. They were absolutely superb, making the whole occasion very personal. We had many comments from guests who were surprised and delighted to hear a music like this played on strings - someone said she would book them to play the same for her funeral, ( hopefully many years away!). Someone else said they had no idea that rock could be played like this - so a whole new audience for strings there! The impromptu solo for my husband brought tears to his eyes.
