Arun Angling was born in 1990. At the time it was just a small corner of a lawn mower shop situated in a garden centre. Started by founders Tim Nudds and Dick Mcindoe both very keen anglers. This small corner soon grew in popularity and over time the once lawn mower store became the best fishing tackle shop around!.

Went in today with 2 of my lads as complete novices and explained that as I didn't know whether it was a hobby we'd keep doing I didn't want to spend too much, Ray took me at my word and showed me some reels at the starter end of the range that were good enough (£20 - how wrong can you go?) We already had rods which he took a look at and said were absolutely fine, so we didnt't need to buy any new ones, gave us lots of great advice on hooks, floats and technique, even gave us a print out of some fishing lakes and recommended Mill Farm as it was great for beginners and we stand a good chance of

Nowhere as big as I'd imagined, staff seemed very uninterested in offering help or assistance.
Seemed more willing to help others that they knew, including letting these people jump the queue to go , even when others were waiting outside.

You can't park without your car sticking out into the traffic, you can't turn round so have to reverse into the road, your can't get through on the phone and they won't even sell you maggots if you go there and the man is rude. Not great service really.
