Size Limits Report

The UK Government, via DEFRA, lay down only certain Minimum Landing Sizes (MLSs). However, with conservation in mind, the AT provide Recommended Retention Size Limits (RRSLs) for the majority of fish likely to be caught in UK waters. An RRSL is a suggested size for a fish below which it should returned to the sea.

The Committee exists to recognise and publish record weights of both fresh and salt water fish caught on rod and line by fair angling methods in the waters of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Fishing Fun Report

Great place to get your deer processed. Turn around time for processing was about 6 to 8 weeks for specialty cuts. In my experience, that's pretty fast! The quality of the cuts and packaging is high as well. Prices are good as well. I will definitely be bringing them more deer for processing. Also, great place to pick up bait and tackle. Good selection and you can help support small business.

Showed up on a day it was snowing. They were supposed to open at 7:00 but by 7:20 nobody was there. I called and someone answered. I politely asked if they were open and he replied, "I'm trying to do that right now." asked if I should just wait a minute and he said, "you'll have to, the door is closed." Then he did not have enough bait in stock and limited how much I could buy because of an alleged shortage. Was very rude for no reason. Not sure what I did to offend.

I love Dave's. Dave is so friendly and knowledgeable. Always has the best info too. Prices are good bait is fresh and he has an amazing selection of gear. My only beef is I have to drive across town and back to fish CL. Maybe a Dave's west?

The gentleman at the front was awesome. Super chill and friendly. I only needed a gift cert and we handled that quickly. Had to bring my kiddo with and she really enjoyed walking through and checking out all the lures her dad could use! Great bate shop, great prices, friendly people. #ShopLocal!!

Excellent deal on my Penn Rampage. Better than the internet with an hours worth of help and advice from the lads , comparing like for like rods from other manufacturers. Always a welcome and excellent bait . Just moved to the area and Daves is now my tackle shop of choice.

Honestly i was vary impressed with how much they have in there to choose from. Also i was looking into buying a new bait caster, first 1 at that. Not only did he line the reel he also showed me how to use and set up the reel, also gave me a great setup. That kind of personality and conversation is worth more then money, thank you for the help

Best Tackle Shop in Gosport, Nothing is too much for them,very friendly & helpful staff.The owner is Dave Ellis & the employee is Mick Mitchell & between them they have all bases covered,ie Boat & Beach fishing, & coarse fishing. Definitely worth a visit
