Classically trained Music teacher from Swindon is looking for students interested in studying the piano (children and/or adults). Lessons can be taught on a piano in your house or mine. Children's piano lessons can be taken from the age of 4 or 5. I can teach younger kids, however they must know alphabet and be able to count to 10. Also, lessons for younger kids are 20 minutes long for the same price.
I have worked with students as young as 3 years old. I can teach 4-handed play (duets), if teaching 2 people at once. Fees are on a pay as you go basis. Suggest to have at least one lesson a week. Alexandra is a fantastic piano teacher and a really lovely person. My Dad is 78 years old. He really loves his keyboard lessons each week as a wonderful respite from being a full time carer for my mum. A carer comes to sit with my mum. I am able to offer private tutoring sessions for children in Maths and 11+ Entrance exams (for grammar school). I also teach French or Russian language tutoring which I speak fluently myself. Alexandra has been teaching me Russian for just over a month now. It is a challenging language but her patient and creative approach has helped me to make progress.
I had tried other approaches that enabled me to repeat phrases parrot fashion with little or no understanding. As a native speaker Alexandra is able to contextualise conversations and help me to learn relevant vocabulary.

Alexandra has been a wonderful Piano teacher for my son. Just with few classes he was able to start singing and playing, he has also got a grip on finger positioning. In one of the songs he has already started using his left hand too, this was very good progress. Alexandra has lao taught him how to read the notations , difference between higher notes and lower notes, when he needs to repeat the line and when the song comes to an end. These are useful techniques to learn. Alexandra's classes are intense and the child has to pay attention.She is also encouraging and prepares children for piano exams

My son has been attending piano lessons for 3 months now and he is really enjoying the piano classes. Alexandra clearly has a talent for teaching as my son is very shy but he is gaining more confidence both with his piano/keyboard and socially each week. He has also been taking French lessons as we were so pleased with the piano results and he is really enjoying this class too.

My 6 year old son has been taking lessons with Alexandra since the summer and he has enjoyed them very much, he learns a lot and is always keen to come to her lessons. Alexandra is a lovely lady who is a pleasure to know and if your looking for a teacher who is professional and passionate about her teaching she is the one to choose. And I am a fussy woman!!!

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her piano lessons. She can be quite shy and needs reassurance and Alexandra has helped her to feel more confident when playing by being encouraging and using positive constructive feedback which has helped her to learn and progress in a fun enjoyable way. I would not hesitate to recommend Alexandra to family and friends.

Alexandra is a talented, knowledgeable and passionate teacher simply because she truly loves to teach. That alone makes her an excellent choice for anyone who is interested in learning piano specially kids. Her gentle and consistently encouraging way brings out the very best in her students.
