We have been helping women to achieve their fitness goals for over a decade. As women in our forties we understand the challenges of staying fit whilst juggling other responsibilities. If you're like most of our personal training clients, you probably aren't looking for Instagram selfie body perfection.
Nick was a great sport and even joined in with the class, partnering with one of our class regulars, GP Sian Edwards, who was interviewed live along with Shona. Check out Nick's blog article on the BBC website discussing his visit, which was also featured in the Swindon Advertiser. Shona visited BBC Wiltshire in July to talk to Simeon Courtie to discuss the #thisgirlcan campaign and its goal to encourage more woman to excercise regularly.
JB Fitness & Wellbeing's private fitness studio for women is centrally located at 22 Borough Fields in the heart of Royal Wootton Bassett and can be accessed either via the High Street or Sainsbury's Car Park at the rear. I've been speaking with a lot of women this week and its clear so many are struggling and feeling anxious about this second lockdown. A winter lockdown feels very different doesn't it! Everyone's routine has been knocked right off kilter and its hard to motivate yourself to exercise and eat better when you have been sat all day at home, you are just not feeling it or your time is spent sorting everyone else out.

I went to see Jules because I hated what I saw in the mirror & I felt embarrassed to leave the house. I had put on so much weight that I didn’t recognise myself & thought because I was in my forties I had to put up with being fat & achy - I was wrong!!! I’ve been doing Pilates with Jools for more years than I care to remember! I have had back problems in the past and poor flexibility which is why Pilates is such an important part of my life these days. The class is fun, it really works your core and I call it ‘my zen time’. Have benefited and enjoyed using the video vault, particularly during lockdown and the winter months! A wide range of workouts available but particularly enjoyed Core Express “exercises you will never do on your own ladies” to quote Jules herself as well as Pilates. Short sharp workouts which I can do first thing in the morning and before a long day of zoom calls!! Thanks Jules!

I' m really enjoying some excellent training at New Royal Wootton Bassett studio.Joined just over 1 month ago, having been to various other classes over a number of years.Really great variety of classes every day, easy to pre book on app. Lots of fun & small classes so lots of personal attention & motivation.

Such a great course and great company, would strongly recommend JB to everyone, I arrived week 1 with no confidence and struggling to run for 90 seconds. On Saturday I completed a 5k run without walking once, the photo is us crossing the finish line!!! Christine is absolutely amazing, there's no way that I would of managed this without her continuous support and belief in all of us! Looking forward to joining the run club and continuing running. 3 months ago I couldn't run for a minute, after completing couch to 5km with JB personal training not only did I complete my first 5km park run, I have joined JB run club and signed up for a 10km run in November. Not only are Christina and Shona brilliant leaders and encouraging the whole group are, it's like one big happy family all enjoying and encouraging each other with a common interest, running.

I cannot rate JB personal training highly enough. Jules and Shona have created a wonderful community for like minded women, all striving to achieve/maintain fitness. Their classes are varied and exciting, always welcoming and easily adaptable to every level. Their positive and supportive attitude is so motivating, 18 months on from joining JB I've lost 3 stone with Jules, exercise 6 times a week, have embraced running with RunJB and am in a completely different place with my fitness and wellbeing!

Shona and Jules have changed my life. I have gone from being a couch potato to actually enjoying regular exercise at least five times a week, and I have lost over three stones along the way! They are truly inspirational and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I saw an advert for the couch to 5K on Facebook and decided to give it a go as found it hard to motivate myself. Christine and Amanda were fantastic coaches and the support of the other ladies on my course helped enormously. Before joining the course I would never run anywhere but after 8 weeks I managed to run the 5K and can say I actually enjoy running now and will be joining the next course.

I love the running club and so glad I joined. They care about the safety of everyone and ensure no one is left behind on run night. Support is amazing. Routes vary and there are women of all abilities who have joined and gone from strength to strength. I highly recommend the club.

I have been running with Run JB personal training for 2 years now, and I feel much fitter, happier, healthier, than I have done in my life!!! as the classes are really structured to your level of fitness, and the ecouragement and support you get is really good, not just from the personal trainers, but from the other ladies on the same journey as myself! and its a really friendly group of like minded people who make the sessions fun and enjoyable, I would reccomend them to friends, family, people that I work with ,who want to either get back into fitness or haven't done any exercise at all, you

I have recently just finished the couch25k course with JB Personal training. I had always hated running, this was my last shot, as the weeks progressed the results were amazing and the running became so much easier.
The support and the encouragement you get is amazing and helps you succeed as you always run in a group and not left behind.
It has been a life changing experience and something to tick off the bucket list. Definitely going to keep the running up
