The Corner House at Wrightington is a free house run by the same family for over a decade. Our food is locally sourced, freshly prepared and cooked just the way you like it, all day, everyday! This includes our weekend breakfast and the best Sunday roast you've ever tasted. We serve Roberts & co custom coffee that is ground and roasted locally, giving the best tasting coffee to all our customers.
Our fully licensed bar serves everything, from guest ales to cocktails, and how about a cool G&T or a cold pint in our beer garden when the sun is shining! Lastly, for all you petrol heads out there, be sure not to miss the car and bike meet hosted at the Corner House on the first Sunday of every month.

We visited a few weeks ago for a flying bite and had a starter which was fantastic, our second visit was great food but not quite as good as the first. There's something about the decor that just doesn't suit the type of clientele that comes here and the music definitely doesn't suit, I don't think my Grandma would enjoy listening to Sisquo's Thong Song.

Mixed feelings on the corner house. Part 1 - Restaurant wise: Been several times, and my experiences here have always been mediocre. I'd like to give it a 3, however most people I know seem to love this place, so 4 is the balance. I personally have found it good, but nothing amazing. Food is decent, reasonable value for money, feels a little run down in spots. Good car park, but no real views, small outdoor area... Part 2 - Regular car meet(cars and coffee): Plenty of very interesting and brilliant cars often turn up of all genres. Not a very friendly crowd though, have never felt particularly

Formerly a Michelin starred restaurant some years ago called the Mulberry Tree. Now, with new owners and sporting a bar, with a great selection of real ales and good outside eating and drinking area.
The food was good with generous portions and a reasonable veggie and vegan selection. In keeping with the trend for a trimmed down, manageable but varied menu, it didn't disappoint...

Our meal was booked for 1pm on a Friday... but they had no record of it! Luckily for us it was not busy at all .very quiet. Besides us, 4 other couples .I had fish n chips n peas...as did 2 other couples ! Good portion. Husband had burger 🍔 which he said was average .the meal plus 2 medium glasses sauvignon blanc and 1 pint shandy ..came to £38 .music was good -not too intrusive .Not sure about all the fake plants they had .The toilets were clean .
