The Raj Gate in Orrell is probably one of the best and most modern Indian restaurant in the Wigan area. In the unlikely event that you can't find what you would like on our menu, the management will be happy to have the chef's specially prepare the dish for you. Food is outstanding and portion sizes are great the staff are absolutely amazing and couldn't be more helpful and the restaurant is lovely and clean and nice would definitely recommend and will be back

Very busy when 7 of us went but the service was still very good. Food was spot on. The place was full to the rafters and still it was great never been my favourite place to eat but cannot fault them on this occasion Full marks.

Our second visit to the Raj gate and its a very busy restaurant which speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the pleasant decor of the place.
In the mood for something spicy my choice was a lamb madras which didn't disappoint and the lamb itself was cooked to perfection, great service here from a polite and dedicated team made the night a great success 😃

It’s been a couple of years since I last went here, but my god I don’t know why I waited so long. Got a takeaway and it has got to be the best Indian meal I have had in a very very long time. Everything was tasty and fresh and very reasonably priced too.
