Our LED dimmer modules are designed to control the brightness of low voltage LED or filament lamps rated up to 10A. Operating from 12V or 24V DC, and controlling the load on the high side, low side or both, our diverse range of modules are designed to efficiently dim LED lamps and LEDs in a huge variety of applications.
It's not a decision we've taken lightly, we have always repaired all kinds of electronic devices since our formation. The experience we've gathered by performing extensive component-level repair on all kinds of electronics over the years has helped us design better products in diverse markets. But as our business has grown, so have the demands on our time and resources, and we feel it is now time to take the business in a new direction.
We receive phone calls fairly regularly requesting information about "Abletronics" motorcycle alarms, specifically a model called the "Absolute Protec". We'd like to mention that this alarm is not designed or manufactured by us, and the "Abletronics" brand, despite the similar spelling, is a brand not associated with us whatsoever.
The DIM12 is a low voltage 12V or 24V PWM lamp and LED dimmer module controlled by the supplied external potentiometer. Connections to the DIM12 are shown in the Connection Diagram section. The DIM12 is connected to the supplied external potentiometer module with 2-core cable. Turning the potentiometer shaft clockwise will increase the lamp brightness, anti-clockwise will decrease the lamp brightness.
The DIM14 is a low voltage 12V or 24V PWM lamp and LED dimmer module controlled by a universal 0-10 volt control signal. 0V on the input means the lamp/LED is fully off, 10V is fully on, and everywhere in between. The module is suitable for interfacing to any device that outputs a 0-10V or 1-10V control signal including most PLCs, lighting controllers, Crestron or Lutron devices, and many others.
