Jo studied architecture in Australia and after graduating decided to travel and explore the world. She worked for international, boutique, award-winning and leading architectural and design firms internationally and started her own studio in Reading, Berkshire, just outside of London in 2016.
With almost 20 years of experience in the architectural and interior design industry, Jo writes regularly for online publications, publishes her weekly blog and helps homeowners with design dilemmas on Houzz.Jo also runs a mentorship program for a very select few, aspiring interior designers who don't want to follow a traditional path into the field of interior design.

Our interior design service covers Reading, Oxford, London and surrounds but we have experience working across the UK and internationally. We can also work remotely on both architectural and interior design projects to suit different circumstances.
Clients come to Jo's studio because they want a fresh, innovative and workable solution whilst needing the skills of both someone with architectural and interior design knowledge. Her clients want their spaces to flow, to work perfectly for their unique situation internally whilst harmonizing with the conditions of the exterior.

We have the skills to give each project the attention to detail it needs. We treat every project with care, passion and enthusiasm, making sure the process for our clients is simple and fun.
The industry of interior design has changed in recent years and Jo was starting her design business right in the thick of it. She doesn't follow outdated techniques and she doesn't teach methods in the ways of typical schools. Jo worked with over 60 clients in her first year of business without any previous contacts and without a portfolio or body of work.

We are currently midway through the fit-out and the drawings have been to an incredibly high standard - we are extremely impressed and will certainly be using Jo for our future venue requirements. Jo was amazing at helping us configure the layout of our terrace house renovation project and provided great ideas on finishes to use . Some genius ideas for space planning and as a result have ended up with a lovely home making best use of limited space!

Well were do I start? We had some vague ideas about the sort of extension we wanted for our new build house but it wasn't until we fortuitously found Jo (via our builder) that we were able, with Jo's help and guidance, to shape the plans that eventually led us to having the most amazing dining space, complementing our beautiful home. I was hoping to purchase an old cottage and put my own stamp on it. She was able to share my vision..and expand my vision. What I love about Jo is that she takes her time listening to my ideas. Prior to the meeting, Jo already did some research on the property based on the info I gave her. She also provided me with building regulations requirements for such a project during each stage of the inspection of the property. Jo brought along her husband

As a total beginner to any type of interior design, I hired Jo to help design the interior for our new house. I have been absolutely bowled over by the time, commitment and energy that Jo has brought to this project. I've know Jo for quite a few years and i have watched with great interest her unfolding career. Last year when we decided that we needed to get a new kitchen, Jo was the first person we went to for help and advice. I have also watched with great interest the videos from Invent Design Create showing the renovations to her home.
