Recently needed a new door lock for my upvc conservatory. Southern Hardware Supply is my ‘Go To Company’ for all things security and hardware. As it was just before they closed on a Friday and it was a rush job, I was desperate. They suggested I send them photos via my phone so they could check the issue I was having and whether they could help me as to how to repair the lock or whether I needed a new lock. As it turned out, getting the old lock out with a broken key in in needed a specialist to come out. The staff gave me details of a couple of companies. I contacted them and one came out

I was recommended this company to me by a friend as I was struggling to find a lock and handles for my front door. When I showed them what I was after they knew exactly what I needed which was great because I was told by another company that the lock wasn't made anymore and that I might have to get a new front door. The people there were really friendly and managed to get me a new lock and handles in the next day and now I have a front door working correctly again.

I am astounded by the amazing service I received from Simon at Southern Hardware Supply. I live in Canada. The door hardware in North America is different than UK style hardware. I have custom-made doors with sentimental value but made with UK dimensions. I looked high and low in North America for the right hardware even online and couldn't find it. I only needed a couple tubular deadbolts with 1 3/4" backset, which are worth about 10 pounds but it would have cost me around $90 to get them in NA. Simon went way beyond expectations to help me get the parts and ensure I ordered the correct parts
