We can watch the busy waterway from our big bay windows and enjoy our walks to feed the ducks, cheer on the rowers and spot a barge or two. Little Monkeys Kilmaurs Road is where it all began. Nestled under Arthur's Seat in Priestfield, conveniently next to the Dalkeith Road commute into Edinburgh.

As working parents looking for nursery care for our own small children we quickly became aware of the need for a fresh approach. We wanted our children to be safe of course - but we wanted much more than that. We wanted to find a real home from home; a place where play and learning worked hand in hand; where our children could be inspired to develop their unique personalities and gifts.
Each nursery opens at times to suit its own location so you and your child don't have to feel the stress of rushed drop off and pick up times. Our Directors - Grace Kerr and Valerie Broomfield have cared for Little Monkeys Nurseries on a full time basis since the first one opened, and continue to do so today.
At Little Monkeys your child is the centre of our world. We understand that they are unique, and we strive to help them set the foundation stones for fulfilling their own incredible potential in the years to come. Little Monkeys is a 'Partner Provider' nursery group working in association with the City of Edinburgh Council.

A fantastic nursery with lovely staff, a stimulating environment and a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. We have had children at Little Monkeys for three years now and have been delighted with the care they receive. I have been particularly impressed with the fresh meals they prepare and provide on site daily, as well as the ease in which they have managed our youngest daughter's food allergies. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I Have had my son at this nursery from the baby room now to the toddler room. He absolutely loves it and has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are lovely, especially Katrina in the baby room and Kirstin the manager. I now have another little girl and although this nursery is out of the way of my home since I'm no longer at work in town, I will definitely be putting my daughter here too. A lovely place for childcare and have been really flexible with me.
