Services
My name is John Steel and I am an experienced mortgage adviser based at Stoke Orchard between Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Bishops Cleeve. Whatever your circumstances I am in good position to understand your needs because I also have many years experience as a Chartered Accountant and Independent Financial Adviser.
There is no such thing as a "one size fits all mortgage" because we are all at different stages of the life-cycle and everybody's situation is different. Our aim is to find you the best possible individual solution whether you are buying or re-mortgaging (remortgaging), facing financial difficulties, looking to protect your house and your family, or wanting to enhance your business with appropriate funding.
If you have concerns about your existing mortgage, the chances are you are either coming towards the end of an interim deal or you need to raise some more money. Most of us take advantage of short-term deals to get a discounted or fixed-rate for a couple of years, but what happens when you get to the end of that period?
A remortgage simply means moving your mortgage to a new lender at a time when you are not moving house. When you come to us to discuss a remortgage, we will always start by carrying out a fact find to ascertain your up-to-date situation so that we can take full advantage of any improvements or steer you round any difficulties.
All of the above are legitimate reasons for needing to raise extra money, but mortgage lenders have their own individual rules as the purposes for which they will allow you to take extra cash so you can't assume that an application will always fit their criteria. Whatever your reason for wanting to raise additional funds, let us know and we will find you the best available deal.
