Services
Established in 2000 by the current MD Ian Jamie, and part of the Swiss group Staeger & Co AG since 2008, our packaging designers have decades of experience and know-how. The concept of supplying custom plastic packaging - via planet-conscious processes - sprung from our UK site in Coventry. There, we quickly established our diverse customer base of Small Businesses and Large Blue Chip companies.
Our Staeger family is pretty extensive: we have over 200 employees working in our competence centres, alone. That is not including hundreds of employees hired across our three production plants. Pretty big family, right? But, at Staeger Clear UK we are tight-knit. And we work together with local businesses and blue-chip companies to create great products for consumers.
Our material of choice for our customers is rPET - that is recycled polyethylene terephthalate - with a 60% post-consumer waste content. In other words, we source most of our material from old plastic water bottles and plastic carrier bags found at recycling collection centres, rather than producing 100% brand new plastic - virgin plastic.
Custom packaging design offers much more than just protection. Ultimately, the packaging becomes part of the product itself reflecting the image and quality of the brand. That's why it's so important to get it right. We understand this well and pay special attention to this aspect at Staeger Clear Packaging.
Our modern production facility in Coventry, England is certificated to the BRC Global Standard for Packaging Materials. We have demonstrated the highest level of compliance on an annual basis to an external and independent Certification Body, consistently achieving AA grades. In this endeavour all levels of our organisation are involved, on an ongoing basis, in our product safety and quality management system.
