If you've not had a tool made before, please have a look through this chart to get an idea about the process. Please be aware that injection moulding production tooling within our capacity will be somewhere between 5-20,000 depending on the size and complexity of the part. It's not cheap to get started, but production is cheap.
Tooling is expensive, and handing over a tool to a complete stranger can be a little intimidating without some sort of agreement. Here at AV Plastics, we believe in being honest and that we get rewarded by good quality work - but in business we have to prepare for the worst case scenario no matter who we're dealing with.
Writing down the full name "Oldbury Plastics Ltd TA AV Plastics" just took too long so we decided to make it simply AV Plastics Ltd. Oldbury Plastics was founded in the 1980s when Ted Torr who co-founded toolmakers "Torfield Engineering" decided to start his own injection moulding company. He decided to call it Oldbury Plastics because he lived in the small hamlet of Oldbury near Ightham.
Beecroft Precision injection moulders has been acquired by AV Plastics and relocated to our premises. Please contact us for all your injection moulding needs. Beecroft Precision, previously based in Edenbridge, Kent, was established in 1968 and built up a strong reputation as a quality precision toolmaker and injection moulder.
