We're one of the few painters and decorators in Stoke-on-Trent with the skills to restore period properties to their former glories. Restoration is much cheaper than replacement - we can use specialist skills like graining, marbling and antiquing to restore panelling and fixtures etc.

Graining - very popular in the 19th Century, this technique uses specialist tools like steel combs to give any surface a wood effect. Marbling - (also known as marbleizing) - a technique which dates back 3000 years, to the Ancient Egyptians, and is designed to give surfaces a marble appearance.
We have just finished the complete interior decorating on two of the Mew's houses at Tabley House in Cheshire. We are pleased to have been chosen to carry out all the repairs and maintenance painting at Dagfields Antique Emporium, which is near Nantwich.
