Our love of Italy started in 1998, and after 21 years of touring this beautiful part of the world, we made the decision to open Mamma's in 2019. Now with our classically trained new head chef Matthew Blease, who has worked in some of the best restaurants in the country, we bring you our own very special touches to some of the finest tastes of Italy right here.
Our new hardworking, creative and passionate head chef, Matthew Blease is originally from Devon but grew up on the East Coast where his passion for cooking and baking began in his Grandma's kitchen. Having qualified from catering college over 19 years ago, his culinary journey has taken him everywhere from small family run businesses to some of the country's top Michelin restaurants.
