Every wedding is a one-off event, as unique as every bridal couple and as professionals with years of experience we will guide you through, step-by-step, to create your individual centrepiece. We can fashion almost anything from a fairytale castle to cascades of fresh or sugar flowers to reflect your wedding theme, colour scheme and match your vision for the focal point of your wedding breakfast.
In order to benefit fully from your consultation we recommend you give some thought to potential areas for discussion. It can also be useful to make a mood board or Pinterest list to help you collect ideas about styles, themes and colours. The traditional saving of the top layer for your child's christening (rich fruit cake) or need for an extra cutting cake.
We can fully discuss all your requirements and a sample cake tasting box will be sent to you after our consultation. Please note that there is a 30 charge for a cake sample box which is then deducted from your final total once you confirm your booking with us. Your wedding breakfast deserves a focal point - a splendid cake.
All of the Angel Cake Company's Cakes are hand-made using the best quality ingredients available. A moist, zesty, refreshing & scrumptious cake, laced with fresh lemon juice syrup which may also be served as dessert. Made with local free range eggs, pure butter and fairtrade lemons, lemon buttercream and zestful, tangy lemon curd.
We can create multiple tiers that are not all cake which gives you the opportunity to have a stunning centrepiece without all the calories and the price tag! Emma and the team at Angel Cake did an incredible job for our wedding at Mapperton. They were a delight to work with throughout, friendly and cheerful in talking us through different options and helping us decide on a design for our cake and sending us multiple generous samples to decide on the flavour (each of which was delicious!). In particular, they put together a wonderful design for a pair of iced biscuits that used a profile image of our two dogs in the icing to use as wedding favours, which were so special to us and completely exceeded our expectations. Angel cake company made the most beautiful cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday, not only did it look stunning but the cake itself tastes absolutely amazing. They were very helpful with design choices and didn’t mind me changing my mind fairly frequently! I cannot recommend this local company enough and will definitely be making another purchase from them.

Thank you so much for doing our wedding cakes! They were absolutely gorgeous and SUPER yummy! The cupcakes went down a treat with everyone and our top cake made a delicious breakfast (you have to right?) before our flight. Everything was so perfect and I'd highly recommend getting your cakes from Angel Cakes!

First of all delicious! We had plenty of comments from our wedding guests who absolutely loved it! They were great at finding out exactly what we wanted and catering to our tastes perfectly. They had great ideas like matching the base to the theme of the wedding along with the flowers that were going to be used even going as far as dealing with the same florist we used.

This is the most wonderful and helpful cake company. Sisters Nicci and Emma create their cakes with such passion and they really are showstoppers. I've had cakes made for birthdays, work celebrations and also really nice egg free cakes for my son who has an allergy. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nicci and Emma at Angel Cakes to anyone looking for a cake for a special occasion.
