Adelphi Guest House
You will be warmly welcomed to the Adelphi by the owners Sue and Simon Cowan who aim to make your stay a friendly, comfortable, home from home experience. The Adelphi is popular with guests because it is central, warm, friendly, and has the atmosphere of a private house rather than that of a B&B. The rooms are decorated to a high standard, original art work hangs in all of them, books abound, and much of the furniture is antique.

The Adelphi is ideally placed in the old market town of Stratford upon Avon. If you arrive by train it lies halfway between the station and the RSC Theatres. If you arrive by car there is parking to the rear of the property and the theatres are a mere five to ten minute walk away.

I stayed at The Adelphi Guest House last night and I am so glad that this lovely, friendly place had been recommended to me. It's walking distance to Stratford upon Avon centre, with parking, a warm welcome (from Sue) and I'd reserved a lovely clean, comfortable Double Room. I was so pleased that Vegan treats (including fresh Fruit) were provided and the Room had lovely touches such as fresh Pink Roses. Even fresh filtered, cold Water was left outside my Room (by Sue's Husband) which shows how everything was thought of. The yummy cooked Breakfast with fresh Coffee (& Oatly Milk with me being Vegan

AIngWIAUAdelphiBThis is an exceptional guest house particularly in the presentation of it's rooms. Our double bed was very comfortable, as often described as "orthopaedic" or "firm" which I like. An abundance of pillows. Beautifully presented. Bedroom decorated with quality pictures, good furniture in character of the house (19th. century although house is younger). Splendid and functional 21st. bathroom. Owners and staff take great care and are friendly (I have stayed in many of the neighbouring B&Bs who were all friendly). Adelphi greet guests by first name and use them throughout. Breakfast

Simon and Sue are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Their place is very well organized, very clean, warm and quaint. It's also very well positioned only 5 minutes walk into the town, it has private parking.

We just stayed at this beautiful guest house this weekend. I have to follow a gluten free diet, and after a warm welcome we were served homemade cake and gluten free cake straight from the oven with a cup of tea. Simon gave us loads of information and tips on what to see and how to get to different places of interests too. The room had everything you could want, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, Sue is very clued up on allergens and took such care. We could leave our car on the carpark when we checked out and had another visit into the town. It made our first visit

Great little guest house, made to feel comfortable and welcome. Offered tea and homemade cake on arrival and had a sit down with the owner and a chat re. where we were and what was close by, etc. Rooms were cosy and had everything we needed, breakfast was hearty and great choice, including good veggie options. Location was a few minutes walk from everything but in a nice residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the centre... just right
