Andy and the team were very helpful and professional. There's great instructional videos on line going through all aspects of using any one of the vehicles available which gave us as first time users confidence as did the individual walk through talk through before we set off.
The motor home was new and in excellent condition and fully equipped for our trip.
My partner and had a fantastic trip to Skye which we absolutely loved but only touched the surface of. we will return and will without hesitation be using Open road Scotland again

First time in a motorhome, we have had a wonderful time. It started with the fantastic choice of selecting Open Road Scotland. We were met by John, such a friendly chap, very helpful. He give a thorough explanation of the motorhome amenities ( which are extensive). Very high quality vehicles, spotlessly clean, kept in top condition. We hired the “ Low lander deluxe “ I average 35mpg which is amazing for the size of the vehicle. One thing that separates Open Road Scotland from the rest of the hire company I checked out is, there’s no small print, no hide cost. Would I use them again, yes without

Just returned from a ten day tour of the Lochs and Glens in the excellent Lowloander deluxe. Andy and John were very easy to deal with (even when Easyjet changed flight times twice!) and the vehicle was immaculate. We have only scratched the surface of this beautiul part of the world so will definitely be returning and Open Road will be first on our list!

Had a last minute disaster hiring a camper with another company, who the day before cancelled on us due to breakdown. Found last minute availability with open road Scotland, and within 12 hours we were driving away in an open road camper. Andy and co saved our holiday! VW camper was clean, included all the necessities, and drove brilliantly. 10/10!!

Good, friendly and professional service provided by Andy & the team, from the start. The videos provided by e-mail and Andy's demonstrations, prior to leaving , set us up for a brilliant week. The Motorhome was first class and actually surprised us with how much storage there was. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Open Road again.

We had a fantastic holiday in Scotland in the Auto Trail F70 motorhome, hired through Open Road Scotland.
We opted for this model because it gave the kids (11 and 9) permanent beds at the back of the van which they could retreat to whenever they needed to lie down. We also had our dog sleeping in a travel cage between them. It made life so much easier for us that we didn't need to make their beds up each evening.
We slept in the front bed which lowers from the ceiling which was comfortable once you climbed into it and easy to get it out of the way each morning.
There was loads of storage inside

Hired a motorhome and was welcomed by John. The motorhome was clean, stocked up with gas, water etc and we had a good introduction to everything that we needed to know by John. Would certainly use again and recommend. John and Andy were super friendly and I would say that the service from them was way above our expectations. It was the first time that we had travelled in a Motorhome and really enjoyed the experience and will definitely do it again and will definitely do it again with Open Road Scotland. Last year we booked one of the smaller vans and did most of the NC500. We enjoyed it so much we booked a bigger vehicle and had a second really good road trip despite the weather.
The service throughout from Andy and his team was excellent. In particular though Jon was very helpful on the day of the pick up ad drop off. Excellent service all round.
