St. David's First Aid Training Ltd courses are compliant with HSE guidelines and our trainers hold full accreditation to teach First Aid. Our Company is totally Independent from any other company. Courses are accredited and certified by Safety Training Awards (STA) who has a heritage spanning some 80 years.
This short course is for smaller and lower risk workplaces. It covers emergency protocols only and is suitable for nominated First Aiders. The aim of the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is to enable a candidate to be able to act as an appointed person to take charge of the First Aid arrangements, including looking after the First Aid supplies and calling the emergency services when required.

Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency.
The First Aid at Work qualification aims to create a level of competence in first aid skills for the workplace. Ability to act safely, promptly and effectively when an emergency arises in the workplace. Administering First Aid safely, promptly and effectively to a casualty who is unconscious, wounded or bleeding, burned or scalded, suffering from bone injury, muscle injury, joint injury, shock, eye injury, poisoned, or overcome by gas/fumes.
The course refreshes and updates First Aid skills and requalifies the First Aid At Work qualification. This requalification course covers the contents of the 3 day First Aid At Work course in two days. Demonstrate the ability to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult manikin. You must have a valid First Aid At Work certificate, or the certificate must be within a month of expiry.
