Hayley's Swimming School

We are a small swimming school for children aged 3 upwards, based on the Wirral, where we've built reputations for really caring about how children progress in swimming. Our small class sizes of 3-4 children and in water teaching, means we can give every child the attention they deserve to become a confident swimmer.

We're always looking for talented people to join our team of teachers and help make a difference to children's lives. Swimming teachers should be approachable, friendly and thrive on seeing children achieve their potential. The STA's Swim Star Swim School programme has been designed to support independent swim schools within the UK and across the globe, to showcase their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, business procedures, teaching and customer service.

Much of this was already in place, but as part of the STAmark, we've made our policies clear on our website here and put in place clear procedures for reporting safeguarding concerns in line with our Safeguarding Policy.

It is widely accepted that it is the responsibility of every adult to safeguard the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults. Abuse can arouse strong emotions in those facing such a situation and it is important to understand these feelings and not allow them to interfere with your judgement about any action to take.

In all of our lessons, we offer small classes, so your child gets the attention they deserve. In our beginner lessons we introduce children to basic water skills and getting them comfortable in the water so they are at ease and most importantly, can have fun during their lessons! Our teachers are in the water with your child at this stage and giving your child the confidence in the water to swim without aids.
