Chorley Equestrian Centre is a well established family run livery yard situated on the edge of the West Pennine Moors. Whilst the centre is nestled in the heart of Lancashire's Hill Country it is only three miles from the market town of Chorley and two miles from junction 8 of the M61 giving easy access from all areas.
The centre was established 30 years ago and has been built up from a small farmhouse and barn to the friendly, family Livery yard that it is today. The centre is run by Janet Berry (BHS II). The facilities include an indoor school, 42 acres of land.and is situated next to excellent hacking. The centre is no longer a riding school.

I kept my horse at Chorley Equestrian Centre for 23 years and I still believe it to be the ideal livery yard. There is year round turnout which is great physically and, very importantly, mentally for horses. If the weather is too icy to go out for safety reasons, the horses and ponies can have a play and a roll in the indoor school. No need for the rider to brave the elements either!
The people involved, either as clients or staff, genuinely care about their animals and are very welcoming and friendly. I feel very fortunate to have formed some great friendships at CEC.
It really is a super place
