Our story begins 'down under'. Husband and wife team working in Sydney, NSW, Australia. John an experienced carpenter working for a well-known global kitchen and worktop company and Rebecca as an Area Nurse Unit Manager. It is in Australia where we gained valued experience in both the kitchen and management world and made solid foundations to begin our voyage into the business world.
Once settled in the UK we set up a kitchen company franchise under a well-known kitchen brand company name. We started out small, working from a barn in Somerset whilst trying to maintain a good work life balance with bringing up a small family. In 2013 we opened a showroom and we also introduced Joseph into the world.

Kitchen Kind transformed our kitchen and downstairs. John was able to cover our existing kitchen worktops with quartz work surface. The transformation and colours we chose were remarkable. In addition , we were able to retain our existing cupboards and simple replace our door fronts and decorative panels. Apart from measurement and templating - this was all achieved in just 2 days.

We have used John and his team before in our previous bungalow to completely overhaul our old kitchen completely with not just Worktops but also a full set of doors. We were so impressed with the job he did we immediately got in touch when we moved to our brand new bungalow. Yes a brand new bungalow complete with a fully fitted new kitchen. We loved our old kitchen so much we didn't hesitate getting in touch with John and his team to change our crummy one and a half bowl stainless kitchen sink, gas hob, and bog standard worktops that the builders fitted to the fantastic worktops fitted by Kitchenkind

John has done both our downstairs shower room and kitchen worktops. In the shower room the tiles have been covered with clean , bright attractive granite, also the floor, and he has done a similar job in covering the kitchen worktops.
