After completing his Cabinet Making and Design Qualification at Distinction Level, Daniel started working at Heartwood Designs for its founder David Willats.

Having supported the business with its growth for nearly 20 years he recently became director and owner of Heartwood Designs. Heartwood Designs has been designing and crafting beautiful bespoke Kitchens and Furniture in our Gloucestershire Workshop for almost 20 years. Constantly evolving in style yet never compromising traditional craftsmanship. Each project we undertake is unique whether it be one room or a whole house - with the emphasis on superior quality and personalised design.
Our kitchens are at the heart of what we do. Each one is individual and tailored to your lifestyle whilst retaining a timeless design style. We aim to make furniture that is not only beautiful but will last for years to come. There are no restrictions when it comes to your furniture - we don't have ranges or set cupboard sizes.
As well as kitchens we can design and make fitted furniture in any style for any room of your home. From bedrooms, boot rooms, utilities and libraries to pool houses and dressing rooms. We also love to design and make free-standing one-off pieces of furniture including dressers, sideboards, drinks cabinets and much more.
Every project begins at home with you. We believe in working closely with each client throughout the entire process. You may have an exact vision of what you want or an idea that needs developing. Either way, we are there to support and guide you through the design process until we achieve exactly what you want.
