Services
Established in 1934 by William J Wilkinson, the company has evolved into a progressive, forward thinking group of practices under the stewardship of the Wilkinson family and partner David Jobling. The group is now under the helm of Jamie and Ayshah Edney. Recently the team developed the group and engineered the move towards a studio/boutique concept, focusing on eyewear not just eyecare.
We are able to carry out all the tasks of an ordinary optician. We offer standard and enhanced NHS and private eye examinations, contact lens assessments and aftercare, dry eye clinics and optical coherence tomography. Also, specialist school vision and sports vision practitioners are available for consultations on request.
Our studios offer a boutique eyewear experience where we offer our sought after styling service. This enables us to support smaller, independent manufacturers and artisan producers. This means we are able to offer more creative and innovative designs, combined with more control over manufacturing and quality.

Well, well, well.... why have I been travelling to central London for eye wear when this most amazingly fantastic establishment is right on my doorstep?!!
This haven is a gem, a true find and I unashamedly ask you to get your glasses here if you are looking for flamboyant styles and genuine, caring and charming service!
Kirk&Kirk is stocked here and if like me you want glasses to reflect your creative flair and individual style then you will not be disappointed!

Having visited all of the other opticians in Bromley I had become disheartened by the lack of personal service together with the poor knowledge and understanding demonstrated by the retail assistance but then I stumbled upon Wilkinsons Opticians who completed restored my faith. They know their product and they provide sound advice and assistance to help you find the glasses that are right for you. Based on my experience I would rate them above all others.
