Just spent 2 day stay at this hotel. Absolute bliss. Cannot praise staff enough. Location: delightful, Accom: spotless and stylish, Food: superb. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, looked after by staff and they even sang "Happy Birthday". Breakfast was a delight. Recommend the chicken and Leek pie on the menu, just don't take chips or taters or you will leave them, portion of pie was enormous, both in taste and in size.

My daughter and now son in law held their wedding reception here. The organisation of the event was excellent. The manager, Linda, and all her staff were so helpful and on the day everything went really well. We had a drinks reception in the cocktail bar for all the guests and then had dinner in the restaurant which was set out beautifully.

My family haved lived in the village for a long time now and eat here on average 3 times a week and I have fortunately had the oppertunity to eat here 3 out of my 10 days while visiting. The food has been exception almost everytime, had to return the venison as it was over cooked to my order but it came back perfect and worth it. I normally go for the Gaelic Filet Steak which is also fantastic, all starters are fantastic, bruchetta and the haggis and black pudding fritters are just delicious.
Would give the food 5 stars but for the price and £22 a bottle of red an easy 4...4.5 if I could.
