Horsebits dorset is a dedicated Equestrian Tack shop selling everything for the horse and rider; my motto being if I haven't got it I will try and get it. I opened the shop in 1998 after a lifetime owning and looking after horses. Having visited many tack shops over the years I felt there was a opening for a friendly local shop that sells and will try to get the things you want, not what others think you should have.

I have a licence to sell wormers for horses, cats and dogs also frontline spot on flea prevention and am happy to advise any owner on a worming plan for their pet. Horsebits offer a rug cleaning and repair service, same day small leather repair service, we also sell a large selection of horse, dog and cat feeds.

Very helpful and friendly and has everything I need. Have bought from them several times for the last year and will continue to do so. Absolutely recommended. For equine equipment and farm animal feeds. Not just horse bits!

At long last I found the perfect Tack and animal Feed store that is nice and local to me.
and with a lot of stock to choose from and if it's not on the shelf, it can always be ordered.
Lovely & friendly and great prices.
Also daily fresh free range eggs are available
Right opposite the Holme Bush pub which is a bonus
I highly recommend popping in for a visit and see for yourself ... to the tack shop first, pub afterwards ;0)

Could not be more helpful if they tried. I went in with a repair on a wallet that everywhere else had told me was unrepairable. Not only was Horse Bits able to repair it, but it was repaired the same day at an extremely reasonable price.
