Went after a funeral into upstairs room which was crowded, obviously every body wanted a coffee / beer. Only 1 member of staff on duty, and the beer was served 1st. 30mins later coffee ? No ! The milk jug got knocked over, table cloth needed changing, they had to use an unironed cloth, not a good look. .

Been before, lovely food gorgeous place. Nice atmosphere.
Just todays ciabbatta not as nice as the steak one, me and my partner had the chicken chorizo which he's had previously but this time all the bottom of the bread was soaking in oil.
But usually spot on.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. The 1st time I was here we wait 2 hours for food and it was cold. The owner reduced the bill to £10 and encourage us to give it another try. 2nd time, 1 person was served after 10 mins, the other 3 of us waited 2 hrs again. Food looked good but was too annoyed to eat it

Good food, we enjoyed the singer, and we actually stayed longer than we had planned because it was so enjoyable.
At the end of the night a member of staff came outside and berated the singer in front of us. She was aggressive and so rude and even when we prompted her that this was inappropriate, she tried to involve us by breaking confidentiality and telling us about his pay etc. We were so shocked to be sat so close to this explosion of totally unprofessional behaviour.

Got food delivered from here very underwhelmed, triple cooked chips didn't seem like they were cooked even once, burgers were very dry, even the dog struggled to eat it. Got 4 beers aswell and went even from fridge.
Only positive was kids meals didn't seem to bad. Not what I expected for the price.

Myself and 2x friends came for lunch today, seated at an outside table. Our order was taken after a few minutes and a carafe of fresh tap water arrived within a few more minutes. However after a wait of 40minutes, I asked the young waitress where our meals were, and she apologised for the delay.
Our meals finally arrived, starter and mains together after almost an hour and 15 mins. This is unacceptable, and spoiled our outing. The food was OK. When the bill arrived a check showed that we had been billed for a dish which we had not received.
Oh dear, Oak, you need to get your act together. If

It used to be great place during lockdown , ordered cajun chicken and breakfast and it was delicious, but since lockdown has eased food quality and delivery has gone downhill. Ordered food today and pancakes came in burnt plus order was missing quite a lot that we had ordered. Took hour and a half to deliver just half of what we ordered. Its disappointing. Might not order again.

Recommended this to my friend since I'd been recently and had a lovely lunch. This time it was different staff. Waited an hour before querying where our food was, got told about the staff changes and how busy they were, no real apology. Then instead of croque monsieur got served a lukewarm ham & cheese sandwich on horrible dry sliced white bread. Needless to say we won't be returning
