My goal is to address the cause of your pain as well as providing treatment to help reduce it. There's no point treating just one part of the problem; successful treatment helps you develop new knowledge and understanding of your pain as well as higher levels of strength, control and flexibility. The aim is to enable you to move without damaging your joints, ligaments and muscles and thus restore efficient, pain-free movement.
Services
Our goal is to help you recover from your injury or condition quickly and empower you to achieve your goals, whether they're about pain reduction, recovery, flexibility, fitness or lifestyle changes. So whether you're aiming for a pain free stroll along the beach or a way to shave those all-important seconds off your PB, we've got the knowledge and skills to help get you there faster and stronger, and keep you there for good.
The most important time after any injury is the first 24 hours, in this time the tissues are bleeding and blood is collecting in the surrounding areas causing damage to the tissues in these areas and can prolong an injury. By reducing the bleeding you can minimise the extent of an injury. This all important stage is often underestimated.
There are lots of different types of back pain and many different types of treatment. The important thing to establish is why you have back pain and what structures are responsible. Once we have established this, we can implement a treatment program to address all aspects that may be contributing to your pain.
If you have very recently sprained your ankle it will probably be very painful; this is normal, but you should be able to put some of your weight through it. If you cannot put any of your weight through it you will probably need an X-ray. Ankle injuries are among the most common injuries to sporting and non-sporting people, and are responsible for over 300,000 visits to A&E each year.
The knee is one of the most vulnerable joints in the body; as a result knee injuries are very common. Knee pain can arise from a sudden injury or can progressively build up over a very long time. Either way, the key to successful treatment lies in accurate diagnosis and treatment based on the best available evidence.

I had over a year of severe issues with knee pain whilst running. I'd seen literally seven other physios previously with no success and I could only run with tape otherwise I'd have to stop after just a mile or two. Had one session of running gait analysis with Kevin where he identified my form was creating the issues. He put me on a running program and just 4 months later, I've just done my first ultra - 40 miles, tape free and knee pain free. I can't recommend more highly.

I had a neck problem and found Kevin's detail via social media and made an appointment for treatment and a consultation.
I found Kevin very professional and friendly and his advice very straight forward.
After approx 4 treatments the issue I had with my neck has almost gone and no need for any further treatment.
if I have any further issues for anything I would be more than happy to go back to Kevin and recommend him to friends.

I first visited Kevin and thought my Achilles tendentious injury had ruled me out of my planned half-marathon altogether.
Not only did Kevin help me repair the damage, but he identified the cause was my running technique. With his guidance I was able to get back into training quickly, adapt my technique and achieve a PB. So faster with less injury. Couldn't be happier.
