Services
We believe that helping our residents to stay active and make their own decisions about what they do and how they spend their time helps them remain happy and healthy longer. We believe in tailoring our care to fit the unique needs of each resident. We aim to make the most of our residents' strengths so each can be as fulfilled and independent as possible.
Activities are designed to accommodate residents' wishes and abilities, we have an extensive range on offer daily which is managed by our mental health nurse specialist and activities staff. We have a dedicated Activities Team that host our activities within the lounge areas, conservatory or garden.
In our therapy suite we can offer hand, foot, head and shoulder massage from Rose and Emma our qualified therapists. We have a weekly hairdressers who visit the home every Thursday. If you want to have your own hairdresser they are welcome to use the hairdressing sink in the bathroom on the ground floor.
Breakfast is served in the upstairs and downstairs dining areas. There is a choice of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast or bread with honey, jam and marmalade. Cooked breakfasts are made to order. A variety of drinks including fruit juices, squash, tea and coffee are always available. Should you prefer breakfast can be served in your room.
We recognise the need to ensure that our staff are offered support and training to develope their clinical skills and to facilitate this all our staff, both trained first level nurses and Health Care assistants, are offered individual training packages. Trained staff are encouraged to undertake further training to support them in maintaining their registration with the NMC.

The excellent staff at the Grange took very good care of my gran whilst she was in their care at the end of her life.
You can tell as soon as you step inside it is a home that is ran very efficiently and cleanly. There was none of the usual negative things you would expect from a care/nursing home such as bad smells or rude/stressed staff and everyone is very friendly and willing to help or chat.
Would highly recommend.

My sister and I spent a week visiting nursing homes who could accommodate her specific medical needs and chose The Grange because it didn't smell bad and appeared friendly light and airy, after all she wasn't expected to be there very long.
Last week, I visited my mum for the first time in 15 months, she is nearly seven stone,
