We assess every aspect from the purity of the metal to the millimetre width of the shoulder diamonds. Everything is important to us. Handcrafted in London by Master Jewellers who specialise in Platinum, 18kt Yellow, White, and Rose Gold. All of our Diamonds are independently graded by the Gemological Institute of America, and individually selected by our Gemologists.

The Aswani family started establishing itself in the jewellery industry in 1986, in the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. As a retail organisation, we've continuously strived towards exceeding the expectations of our clients. Rather than solely focusing on what the jewellery industry is producing and marketing, our vision has always focused on what the consumer wants, while balancing value for money and timeless designs.
From the outside, buying an engagement ring can seem difficult and worrisome. Each aspect of the ring - the design, the metal choice, the characteristics of the diamond - require close attention and need to fit within the budget set. Like most purchases, we tend to immediately go online to learn about the basics of buying an engagement ring.
Apart from the centre diamond, the other most valuable aspect of the engagement ring is the precious metal. Today, customers are offered the following four choices - 18kt Yellow Gold, 18kt White Gold, 18kt Rose Gold, and Platinum 950. Pure gold is referred to as 24 karat gold. It is the purest form of the metal and is quite soft in nature.
Ensuring that your ring fits perfectly is important for two main reasons. First, it allows you to feel comfortable when it is worn - especially if it is a piece you intend to wear on a daily basis. Secondly, and some would argue more importantly, a well fit ring reduces the possibility of losing it when out and about.
While we are a jewellery company that is aware of the implications that mining has on our environment, we are not one that blindly ignores it. As part of our promise to assist clients with purchasing diamonds that have had no further impact on the environment, we believe that offering true, fair market prices on pre-loved diamonds, is one of the best ways of doing so.

If you're currently looking for your engagement/wedding ring designer- this is the only place you need to go. Karan was incredible. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted, and Karan was professional, patient and incredibly knowledgeable and gently guided me towards the end result. I highly reccomend D&D. We were lucky enough to be recommended Karan by a friend after going to some of the high street jewellers. I must say the service was incredible from Karan who made it a really personal service, educated us on the diamonds so we had a better understanding of what to look for. A few meetings and a proposal (she said yes :D) later, we have purchased an engagment ring as well as our wedding bands from Karan!
