At The Old Vicarage we provide beautiful Country House accommodation as well as a luxury self catering Holiday Cottage. Set in over an acre of secluded gardens, we are in the pretty stone village of Wetton overlooking the Dovedale and Manifold valleys. Originally built by the Duke of Devonshire, as part of the Chatsworth Estate in 1842, the house is steeped in history, retaining many original features and is a great base for a wonderful break.

We have even been featured in Countryfile Magazine as their recommended place to stay in the Peak District! Nestled in the hills in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, we are the perfect location for exploring this stunning area.

Stayed here for a long weekend whilst doing some hiking around the area and exploring the Peak District. The accommodation was a great base in a great location and Nicola made it feel like home. She had good advice for the area and helped with everything we needed.

Fabulous location, beautiful cottage kept and maintained to the highest standards and we'll set up kitchen for self catering and the option of breakfast in the main b&b if you want. You can also play croquet on the lawn if the weather is nice.

Charming B&B with a warm and kind host. Beautiful part of the country with walks and great places to visit and spots to eat out nearby to keep anyone busy for several days. We really appreciated the inside knowledge of our host and would love to visit again

This is a gem of a b & b and perfectly located for exploring a beautiful area of outstanding walks. Also good for Chatsworth and their annual flower show. Nicky is a great host and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Lovely waking up to the birds. Will definitely go back

A lovely welcoming b&b, tucked away in a derbyshire village with plenty of walking from the door step. A pub just next door too. Nicki is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We left a bottle of bubbly on our window sill, when we returned there were 2 champagne flutes next to it! Thank you for a really enjoyable stay, I had a most relaxing birthday - a treat.

Four of us stayed at the Self Catering Cottage in September 2014 - I'm a bit late in my review! We had an excellent stay - the cottage is beautiful, clean and cosy. The owner, Nicky, could not be more pleasant and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Couldn't fault this B & B at all, the setting is out of this world set in beautiful gardens, so quiet and relaxing, there is ample walking straight from the front door, the breakfasts are fantastic with endless coffee and tea along with home made bread for toast.
Nicky the host goes about her business with a lovely welcoming manner and Massie the dog is always available for you to throw a ball in the garden.
