Flying Colours School of Motoring is a professional and well established Driving School based in Southbourne, Bournemouth. The Flying Colours team of driving instructors cover a wide area of Dorset including Bournemouth, Christchurch, Ferndown, Tuckton, New Milton, Poole, Branksome, Wimborne and Hamworthy.
We have helped many learner drivers pass their tests with expert tuition, Listen to what they have to say. I don't normally leave reviews but I owe a massive thank you to Sophie who has helped me pass my test at my first attempt with only 3 minor faults. I started as a nervous driver and I was very reluctant to take to the road.

Very grateful to Chris Watts who supported me through a long time of learning (unfortunately interrupted by covid) to be able to pass my (automatic car) test today! He has been so patient and calm, always ready to listen and respond to any questions or concerns, and great company too! Lessons have been such a positive experience. I was very worried having just moved to the UK and seen how driving seemed like in a different country . I was clear about my objectives of wanting to pass first time only . This was just a matter of weeks to my practical driving test . I contacted Chris having heard good reviews from colleagues and we had lessons .
Straightaway ,he takes you through what’s expected of you as a driver . He talks you through scenarios that you may encounter and then goes on to demonstrate them to you . He is very hands on , patient and always goes over everything in detail to be sure you’re

Where do I start? Chris has been absolutely amazing from the get go. Very professional and teaches you in such a way you can enjoy driving!!
He put me at ease and assured me throughout to be able to feel confident enough to book my test! Not only that… I passed first time! And have Chris to thank for it!

I would like to thank Chris from the bottom of my heart. You have been a great tutor to learn from, your teaching skills and calmness definitely helped me so much with my nerves. I went from being a nervous driver to now someone who looks forward to driving and I actually enjoys it!

I had the best experience learning to drive with Flying Colours. Chris is exactly what you want in a driving instructor - calm, patient, professional and clear. I went from being so nervous to start driving to actually enjoying lessons. I learned so much, the lessons were really well structured and advanced at exactly the right pace. I can't thank Chris enough for all his help - because of him, I passed first time!

I can not thank Chris enough for teaching me how to drive . I was really nervous and I remember telling him I tried before and I was not a good driver. He is so professional and from the beginning he reassured me he would do his best to change this... and he did... I passed first time and I am so happy . Amazing professionals!!!
