Muri is a name inspired by one of the finest and delicious snacks from Kolkata (or Calcutta), in West Bengal, the Jhal Muri. We serve fresh and flavoursome Indian street food along with regional specialties, tandoor-infused dishes as well as some familiar curries and mouth-watering sides and accompaniments. Our cooking has no artificial flavours, additives or colouring and where possible, we have used local suppliers for our produce.

We eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and this is definitely the best. Everything we ordered was prepared fresh and in-house, even the chutneys and dips and deserts. There are some very unusual and unique items on the menu. The staff were pleasant and attentive, restaurant clean, tidy and colourful.

Fantastic Indian food and it is walking distance from my house. Dishes are beautifully prepared and the service is great. There is a lot of competition around area with a few good Indian restaurants however these guys hold thier ground. Thank you.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a cool evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for the happy celebration. The team cooperated in a very nice manner, the meals were delicious and my friends were so happy. We shall no dout come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Items missing on my order, when I call in to challenge them the man on the phone is telling me it was in there as he packed it himself! So I'm lying for I think £2.45. Besides that these curry dishes must of contained a glass of water each. Absolutely disgusting. Never used to be a bad place they must be struggling now. Dive!

We tried a variety of starters, grilled meats, and curries. It was all mild in chilli and spice, the lamb chops were tasty but chewy, and it was all a bit sweet. The bondas were the best bit for us.
