I opened Fabrics Galore in 1992 and have managed the business ever since. I have been in the textiles industry from a very young age and you could say it runs in the family. Fabrics Galore takes its name from the shop my grandmother started in Skipton and my father's store is still the best place to buy fabric in Bradford.

Deadstock fabric refers to textile manufacturers' end of line fabrics which may be left over in small quantities and discontinued from current fabric ranges. Deadstock fabric is used to describe discontinued fabric that is left over and hasn't sold. Often these fabrics are in small quantities or may have flaws in the fabric although it is otherwise perfectly fine.

Decent selection of fabric of various textures. You are likely to find what you are looking for but thread variety is okay. More colours needed. Some Sewing accessories and tools available including appliqués, buttons, glitter, elastic. You may not get every single thing you want if your an advanced designer. But you will get just about everything you need to complete a successful sewing project.

Amazing service. Great selection - not overwhelming but plenty to choose from. Very friendly. Bought some beautiful fabric for Roman blinds which look amazing. My 7 year old is an aspiring dressmaker and when they heard she was stuck in isolation during half term with COVID they gave us a massive bag of scraps for her design work. Made an order for some Christmas fabrics for various products and had a minor issue in order with one fabric being wrong. Got in touch with the company via the email listed on the invoice and within a few hours they got back to me and have sorted the issue. The fabrics are gorgeous; beautiful prints and great quality with quick delivery and great customer service. I will definitely be using them again for fabric purchases I make in the future.

Rubbish experience on their website. The page jumps whilst scrolling. The filters move the page to the top so the results are not visible and trying to view a product's image is impossible as for some reason selecting an image doesn't stop the auto animation on to the next one.
My advice: make the logo size reduce in time with a scrolling action by using requestAnimationFrame(). Remove all other animations.

Absolutely in love with this store! Bought a handful of fat quarters and sale macaroon fabrics which go amazing with my theme of bows and scrunchies. Definitely my go to from now on for my small business that I run in Greenwich Market. No complaints on quality and freshness of the fabric. Must visit for anyone looking to introduce new styles and fabrics as there is such a wide variety of colours and textures.

I was thrilled to find a fabric store in walking distance of my flat and was in search for several fabrics for my superhero halloween costume (it was my first attempt at a wonder woman outfit) and Fabrics Galore did not disappoint. Not only did they have the fabrics that I wanted (tulle for my tutu skirt) the lady behind the counter was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me some great creative advice. Although they didn't have the color blue tulle that I wanted she helped me think of an idea with other colors of tulle and even recommended the perfect shiny red fabric for my no-sew superhero

I have to say I find the previous reviews very surprising. They do have a great choice of fabrics and really good prices for the Liberty fabrics which is why I still go there. However, their staff are mainly unhelpful and very patronising whenever you try to ask anything. They ignore you and then when you go to them for a question or even just to pay for your purchase they look at you like you're just a waste of space and of their time.

I have been there last week, I`ll be back soon for sureon my next trip to london ... lots of different fabric, very very very cheap. frabric for cloths, for crafts, for everything really. I bought some fabric for my crafts.. and found most of what I was searching for! I also found some amy butler fabric!
