CVD is not part of any embassy. If you wish to apply directly to the relevant embassy, please consult their official website for guidelines on how and where to apply, application forms and for information on their fees. We manage the entire visa application process on your behalf, assisting you to navigate through the complicated requirements.
Very simply, we visit the Foreign and Commonwealth office in person on a regular basis to get documents apostilled. Our standard service involves bulk legalisations at Milton Keynes. However, if you are in a rush, we offer a same day premium service and will attend the FCO office in London to complete an apostille for you in a matter of hours.

What a joke, they took my application form and money, but forgot some photocopies, and then a few days later told me they couldn't do the application as the embassy, "had changed their rules."
They then charged me for postage to send my passport back as, "it wasn't their fault." They charge a premium do to an application I could do myself, but I pay that premium to ensure everything is in order for my application. I ended up having to do it myself anyway.

I've used China Visa Direct several times over the last few years to legalise documents with the UK and Chinese authorities and also apply for China Z visa. They are fast, efficient and reasonably priced. They keep in touch by email/phone throughout the process and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service from start to finish. Visas received within 7 days staff very helpful. This company is cheaper than the company recommended by the cruise companies. Also CVD makes it a very easy and painless process compared to the stress of the other websites. This company was recommended by a friend who travels to China a lot as I was not sure from the different websites which one to use. I would highly recommend Chinese Visa Direct.

These guys could not have been more helpful. I had 13 visa applications, several of which were for children, not all of them had their parents travelling with them, very few of the applications were correct but the staff calmed by anxiety, worked through what was needed to fix the problems (some of which were complicated due to name changes / marriages & divorces) and got everything processed in time.
The website might not be the fanciest and the office won't win any design prizes but the location was convenient for me, the service excellent and the communication great. All the important things

I picked my Chinese visas up yesterday. The service I received from Chinese Visa Direct was excellent. Any questions were answered immediately, the service gave me confidence at every stage of the process and I wouldn't hesitate to use Chinese Visa Direct again. Getting a Chinese visa is expensive but to save the hassle of queuing up myself to drop off and collect, whilst trying to ensure every aspect of the application was perfect, was worth every penny extra I paid Chinese Visa Direct. Great service and very quick. I must admit I was a little dubious because of their 'old fashioned' web site but followed their instructions, sent off the documents. There were a couple of problems with my paperwork, they pro-actively contacted me and helped me resolve them and bingo, passport and visa back in 1 week. You pay a few pounds more than visiting the embassy directly but when considering transport costs, time, frustration - this is a winner.
