Services
Stuart Line Cruises was founded in 1968 by Tony and Zena Stuart. With the help of his devoted wife, Tony operated a small wooden 52-seater boat called 'Seacrest' from Exmouth Seafront and became well-known locally for his cries of "half-hour trip around the bay, you pay on the boat"! Tony and Zena's eldest son, Ian, helped his parents from an early age and his 'other half', Philippa, purchased her first boat in 1985, at a cost of just 2500.
Stuart Line Cruises are proud to be one of the best visitor attractions in the South West and this reputation is largely due to the fantastic team who run the operation! We are a small and friendly team here at Stuart Line HQ and pride ourselves on personalised and attentive customer service, making for a consistently high-quality experience, throughout the year.

At short notice I managed to secure a place on a Guided Bird Watching Cruise during the first week in November. We traveled up the estuary to Topsham and back. The crew were friendly and polite and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. We saw a wide variety of birds along with the occasional seal. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would happily book again.

Four of us (and two dogs) went on the Stuart Line Cruises River Cruse. This was great value for money and the staff on board (most of whom are all part of the same family) were simply fantastic. The boat is nicely set up with heated indoor areas if you find “up top” a little too fresh. The information they give you on the trip on the local area is really interesting. Will be looking to book a Birdwatching cruise in the spring. Well done all!

Went on the Jurassic Coast Cruise, it was excellent, very interesting, seeing the various strata in the rocks and various formations over millions of years. Also hundreds of different species of sea birds. Well worth the price and coffee only one pound a cup. Thank you Stuart Line Cruises.
The only small criticism is that the commentary was a bit unclear so we were missing quite a bit. But that could have been mostly down to where we were sitting and my hearing.

Had a lovely mini cruise that took us out on to the river Exe, they did all they could to keep social distancing and make every one comfy. They offered hot and cold drinks as well as souvenirs. We opted for the cream tea with the ticket price.
There is a commentary as you sail around, just enough information without it being too much. For £11.50each, I feel it was good value for money. Just over an hour.
Would very much recommend.
