Wilco has purposefully strived to avoid specialisation in order to offer you the widest possible choice in terms of machining technology and volume for your precision turned parts. Wilco have consistently remained competitive by maintaining a wide variety of machinery types. This ensures that your component is manufactured on the right machine tool for the job to suit its level of complexity and volume.
We would like to introduce you to some of the personnel who you deal with on a day-to-day basis. Managing Director, Martin Lane, has worked with the company for over 15 years. Martin deals directly with all your quotations and direct technical sales enquiries and co-ordinates the team in support of our business objectives.
Wilco primarily manufacture, manage and deliver your precision bar turned parts up to 52mm diameter. The wide range of latest generation, new sliding head CNC machines sit in proximity to both quick set up, low volume lathes; versatile single spindle autos and fast, large volume multi-spindle autos.
Operationally, we have distinct groups of turning machines which allow us to offer you such a wide choice. The most dramatic change over the last few years has been the huge investment into sliding head CNC machine technology. Wilco have purchased three brand new Star SR20RII and two brand new SR32J sliding head C.N.C. lathes and six used SA12/16 ones, as part of a company acquisition, to bringing the C.N.C. machine total to fifteen.
