We are a DVLA registered, family run business, and have been collecting and scrapping unwanted cars for over 30 years. The company started in Bilston with one scrap yard and five employees. Over the years we have grown to cover the entire West Midlands area. We now employ many more people, and operate fifteen recovery vehicles, able to safely transport from one vehicle, to four vehicles at any one time.
Our ELV (End of Life Vehicle) licence which our company has obtained by the Environmental Agency, Waste Management and Waste Carrier licence means that we are an authorised treatment facility for the recycling of End of Life Vehicles. The following treatment operations are which required by the Environmental Waste Agency Act 1990 to ensure the vehicles are destroyed environmentally friendly and lawfully.

Very, very good experience! They paid me almost double what We Buy Any Car had initially offered me. The guy turned up, super friendly, had a chat with me, told me how to contact the DVLA to tell them my car had been scrapped and the money arrived in my account while he was still stood there talking to me.

Arranged collection online and then confirmed over the phone. They didn't show up to collect. I tried to call them 13 times over the next 2 days (allowing the phone to ring for almost 5 mins on some occasions), no answer in 2 days. I then received an email 2 days after the collection was scheduled, cancelling the collection. very poor.

A waste of time.
If you need to scrap your car I would use another company.
Car.co.uk were a complete waste of time.
I agreed a quote and arranged for collection between 8am and Midday on the 19/10/21.
By midday there had been no contact at all and I called the number supplied in the instruction email and left a message. I had no response so rang car.co.uk at 1.45pm to ask where the driver was. I was told the driver was running late because of traffic and they couldn’t give me a time of arrival.
I asked why the driver couldn’t have let me know that they were running late so that I didn’t
