Services
Our XK/R 4.2 and 5.0 exhausts are available in 3 stages of volume to cope with all tastes and requirements. All parts are made in the UK from 304 stainless steel, are mandrel bent for optimum flow and use OE style stainless steel clamps. The exhausts are available as a non active system for XK and XKR or as an active system for the XKR.
We believe at Spires that vehicle tuning is as much about the detail as the parts to install. All the parts we install on customers vehicles are specifically tuned by us or carefully selected from our product suppliers. Getting the selection correct and setting it up to maximise the benefit is directly proportional to the.

Well it was the best 2 hrs and £290 I've ever spent, Matt was a wealth of knowledge and information on my Jaguar XF S he definitely knows his stuff.
To understand my elation is to live with my Jag with constant turbo squeal and fumes, then after half an hour limited power for the rest of the trip everyday for the last 12 months, because the only solution I could find was a new cat from Jag at £2k and a used one is pretty much hard to find.
Now with Matt from Spires breathing on it I've got my big cat back.
To set the record straight I was always told it's the flexible joint that's broken.

I can’t recommend Matt @ Spires highly enough - a spot on set up makes all the difference and this is exactly what you get from Spires - not “within spec so that should be good enough”, but a spot on set up to suit your car and how you use it.
Other places may have some similar, but I’ve never come across anywhere with the same patience at attention to detail.

I initially went to Matt complaining of a lack of front-end grip with my E46 M3. He worked to understand my needs and we went down the Nitron route. I appreciated his thoroughness, checking my install as it turns out it wasn't quite right. The rest of the corner weight and alignment was as meticulous. Fast forward to track days restarting after covid, I was at Bedford a few weeks ago and the car was great.. it actually took a few laps for my brain to catch up with what was happening. The way the front-end behaves now is so much better and no longer frustrating understeer. Couldn't ask for more

Eibach rear camber/toe shims, corner weight and a full geometry setup done today by Spires. I hate letting anyone working on this car but watching Matt work his magic gave me full confidence that the car was in good hands. The rear beam being dialled in to the correct settings has made it feel like a different car, left turns noticeably better. Highly recommend, well worth the near 3 hour drive.

Inless you want to be ripped off dont use this service took my bmw in for alignment Matt started at the front of the car adjusting the track rod ends then moved to the back after like 5mins adjusting the rear. Now at this point Matt already knew that my track rod ends were seized but instead of telling me he carried on adjusting the rear tracking rods ends. Then after about 10mins moved to the front again then told me that my track rod ends are seized and that it would cost £120 each track rod end plus £120 to fit and £144 for alignment. At this point Matt was trying to pressure me to leave

Following replacement of some steering components at another garage, the steering wheel was not centralised and the car didn’t ‘feel’ right.
After a brief chat with Matt on the phone I knew Spires was the right place to go to in order to rectify my concerns.
When I arrived for my appointment at Spires I was met by Matt who is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to suspension/chassis fundamentals.
After no time at all, the 4 wheel alignment on my car had been completed and what a difference it has made to the way the car drives.

Matt at Spires Technologies completed a tremendous job of the full geometry on my vehicle. Finding good alignment guys is pretty difficult: Look no further! My car is transformed. Pure wizardry. Great value. If you need alignment, corner weights, etc then you won't be disappointed.

Can't believe the difference Matt & Ned made to my car!!
I took my 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport in for corner weight and geometry work as I'd installed coilovers and had my dealer do the alignment afterwards, however that turned out to be a bit of a let down with a wonky steering wheel and very poor steering response. I'd left it a while and got sick of the setup being disappointing so found Matt on twitter strangely! I contacted him and he recommended a basic coilover setup with him for to be honest not a lot of money!
